The Fronius Welducation Simulator is an advanced virtual reality training system designed to teach welding skills in a hazard free and cost-effective way.
Unlike traditional training, the Fronius virtual reality welder combines real world welding equipment ( torches, earth clamps and machine casings ) with a virtual reality headset to overlay digital welds into the physical world. It allows trainees/ apprentices/ students to practice MIG/MAG, TIG and MMA processes withought using any materials, gas or electicity while receiving instant feedback and guidance to help perfect their technique.
Realistic Simulation: The virtual welding simulator uses original welding torches, hose packages, and casing for a Fronius welding systems, combined with an AR headset to integrate digital elements into the surrounding environment, making the welding experience extremely realistic.
Rich Training Content: The simulator covers three welding processes:
- Manual arc welding
- MIG/MAG
- TIG
It supports various materials such as steel, stainless steel and aluminum, as well as different material thicknesses and welding positions. There are also three different difficulty levels to choose from (easy, medium and hard).
Complete Teaching System: The system is equipped with the Welducation Campus platform, which integrates theoretical learning and practical training. Instructors can supplement teaching content as needed and can clearly display learners results and progress, helping trainees improve their skills efficiently.
Safe and Economical: This peice of equipment completely eliminates safety risks such as high temperatures, ultraviolet radiation and welding fumes. It does not require consumables such as contact tips or ceramics, wire or rods, or welding gas, saving costs and the environment in the long run.
Intelligent Guidance and Evaluation: The AR Welder has a built-in "Ghost" virtual instructor that provides real-time visual and auditory feedback to remind users of errors and deviations. It also has a playback function, which can record the entire welding process, facilitating error analysis and progress tracking.
