The Bohler Evolution V80 Air - glossy blue headshield is a powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) ready welding helmet. It is designed to connect to a compatable air filteration unit for respiratory protection while providing an extra large viewing area and high optical performance. 3 factors really make this headshield stand out:

With an exceptional field of view the 124 x 80mm lens is among the largest available. This means less head movement to see the joint, puddle and surrounding work. Which is especially useful on structual steel, pipework and fabrication.

Most auto-darkening headshield sit at shade 3 or 4 when inactive. The V80 Air's lighter shade 2.5 gives a much brighter view while setting up, grinding or positioning your work, so you dont have to keep lifting the helmet.

With the true colour technology the filter provides a more natural view of the weld pool as it is not equipped with the traditional green tint. Many welders find it easier to judge penetration, puddle size and joint edges.

The redesigned headgear has multiple adjustment points, neck padding and a cushioned sweatband. If you are wearing it for an 8-10 hour shift, this will make a noticeable difference.
