Prefabrication welding in workshops, on-site welding, overlay welding and repair welding are just some of the uses of covered electrodes. Böhler stainless steel electrodes can be used in the flat, vertical-up and overhead positions (3.2mm and smaller diameters). Because Böhler stainless steel electrodes have a very wide parameter box, they have a large working range, extremely good weldability and give a stable arc. The slag is self-releasing and leaves an even, beautiful weld finish. The electrode can operate on both AC and DC polarity. Safety against porosity is optimum due to the moisture resistant flux coating system and dry system packaging.
